MAVVUNO ("MAVVUNO", "we", "us") operates a global expansion execution platform that connects companies with vetted regional and industry experts and manages deal execution end to end. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have. For any privacy request, contact privacy@mavvuno.com.

• Account data: name, email address, password hash, account type (company or expert), and authentication metadata.
• Company profile data: company name, sector, target markets, expansion goals, team members, and deal information you enter.
• Expert profile data: biography, headline, expertise, countries, languages, hourly rate, photos, video links, certifications, and supporting documents you upload.
• Verification (KYC) data: identity and business-verification information and the resulting verification status. Identity documents are handled by our verification providers; we retain status flags and limited reference data.
• Transaction data: bookings, milestones, invoices, payouts, and payment status. Card and bank details are processed by our payment providers and are never stored on MAVVUNO servers.
• Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser information, IP address, and product analytics events.
• Communications: messages, booking requests, support tickets, and email engagement.

• Provide and operate the platform, including matching, bookings, and deal tracking.
• Verify identities and maintain the trust and safety of the network.
• Process payments, escrow-style milestone releases, payouts, and success fees.
• Send transactional email such as confirmations, booking updates, and receipts.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, money laundering, and sanctions breaches.
• Improve the product, including AI-assisted matching between goals and experts.
• Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (operating your account and deals), legal obligation (KYC, AML, tax), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and consent (marketing email, optional cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Verified experts who publish a profile choose to make selected information public, including name, photo, headline, biography, expertise, countries, hourly rate, video, and ratings. Public profiles are indexable by search engines. Experts can unpublish a profile at any time from their dashboard.

We share personal data only with: counterparties in a deal or booking you take part in (limited to what is needed to execute it); service providers acting on our instructions, including cloud hosting, database, email delivery, identity verification, payment processing, and analytics providers; and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.

MAVVUNO operates across ASEAN, Eurasia, Central Africa, and Europe, so data may be transferred outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors.

We keep account and profile data while your account is active. Transaction, KYC, and compliance records are retained for the period required by applicable financial and tax law, typically up to ten years. Other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, scoped access to uploaded documents, role-based administration, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact privacy@mavvuno.com and we will respond within the statutory deadline.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session security, and limited analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies will break sign-in.

MAVVUNO is a business platform and is not intended for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the platform or by email before they take effect. The date at the top reflects the current version.
